Q: Can you dim LED LumentTask under cabinet fixtures?

A: No. However, each fixture is equipped with a high-low-off switch.

A: A minimum of (2) two and a maximum of (5) five.

Q: How do I wire a single LED Puck light to the LPCC-6 power supply?

A: You must wire them in 'series' and not 'parallel' (see installation instructions)

Q: Can you dim the LED Puck lights?

A: No, due to the fact that they are constant current 12V DC LED's.

A: (2) Two reels maximum Longer runs must 'home run' back to the power supply.

Q: Can I cut the LEDTask Standard Output Flexible Ribbon and LEDTask High Output Flexible Ribbon to fit?

Q: I have (3) three separate 30-inch runs of LEDTask Standard Output Flexible Ribbon. Can I connect them so they all operate from the same wall switch?

A: Yes, you can connect them by using our 'LTC Series' Ribbon to Ribbon Connectors.

Q: I have wired (3) three separate 30-inch runs of LEDTask Standard Output Flexible Ribbon using 'LTC' Ribbon to Ribbon Connectors. The center run of Flexible Ribbon will not light.

A: This is a common problem that occurs when the polarity is reversed. We suggest that you double check your connections to make sure the (+) positive is connected to the (+) positive, and the negative (-) is connected to the (-) negative.

Q: Can I use the LEDTask Standard Output Flexible Wet Location Ribbon to light my swimming pool, spa or fountain?

A: You can use the Wet Location Ribbon outdoors, but you cannot submerge the ribbon underwater.

Q: Can you adhere the silicone jacket of the LTR300WP-SO Ribbon to the underside of a granite counter top using glue? What is suggested in an outdoor kitchen application?

A: I suggest using Clear Silicone Sealant/Caulk.  You  can find it an any Home Deport or similar home center.  Generally the underside of granite is not polished, so it should stick well; but if it is polished you should remove the sheen first by sanding.  Next clean the area and apply a nice bead of the Silicone; don’t be shy!  Have some masking tape ready...after the bead sets up for a bit press the ribbon into it and wipe away the excess. Add the masking tape to help secure the ribbon until the silicone sets up.  After a day; remove the tape and you are ready to go!
